Applications for guyed structures, self-supporting towers, structures, substations, and switching stations are all part of the Chance® T/C (tension-compression) foundation and guy anchor product line.
Applications in sensitive areas, high water tables, difficult access as well as normal soils make the Chance® T/C foundation a priority in transmission line construction. Used in site development, augmentation, retrofit / upgrades, guy anchors, and platform shelter supports, these structures are frequently engineered using Chance® T/C foundation piers to prevent any horizontal or vertical movement around its axis. This application is very cost effective for most projects because mobilization and installation time is minimal compared to alternate solutions.
